Exclude Part Feature
A new "Exclude Part" feature has been added to the Pending Deal screen. This Exclude Part feature applies ONLY to parts that you do NOT ship on specific transactions.

Benefit: Allow sellers to control the "destiny" of a particular part that is being "excluded" from a particular shipment. Why? Because, by doing it the "old way," the part(s) that you are not shipping would continue to show up on future deal after deal.

Making Your Orders More Accurate
In the past, parts that were not shipped on a particular transaction were automatically "thrown" back into your sell file and made available to other buyers. After realizing this may have been a faulty assumption, DealerMine created a feature to allow sellers to control the "destiny" of a particular part that is being "excluded" from a particular shipment.


Here's how it Works
There are several options available that will enable you to determine if and how the part is excluded from the current deal or your sell file entirely.
    These options are found in the "Exclude Part" column.

  • Ship This Item
    The default setting for the Exclude Part feature. If you're shipping a part don't change from this setting. When Ship This Item is selected you must enter a Shipped Amt to continue processing the deal. We will remove the shipped quantity from your current sell file and tell the buyer that those parts are in transit. Any quantity remaining after you ship will still be available for other buyers to order.

  • Do Not Ship This Item On This Transaction
    Select this option to not ship an item but leave it in your sell file and continue to offer it for sale. Selecting this will automatically change the shipped amount for a part to 0.

  • Do Not Ship This Item On This Transaction
    If you select this option the part will be removed from your current sell file. Buyers will no longer be able to buy this part from you. Once you send us a new Sell file the part, if it is in your inventory, will be loaded into our system and available for sale once again. Selecting this will automatically change the shipped amount for a part to 0.

  • Exclude Part from ALL future sales transactions
    This will remove the part from your current sell file and all future sell files will not load this part. This will make sure that ALL future deals do not include this part. PLEASE USE THIS OPTION WITH EXTREME CAUTION. If this option is selected buyers will NEVER see this part again. Selecting this will automatically change the shipped amount for a part to 0.
