Zulu Tip Of The Month

Using Auto MusicMute To Quiet Auxiliary Audio Sources

What It Does
When radio communications come in from the panel, Auto MusicMute decreases the volume of auxiliary audio devices by 80%. Audio sources include things like mp3 players, portable radios, CD players, handheld games, or anything else you can plug into the AUX jack found on the side of the Zulu's controller. (An audio patch cable is provided with your headset.)

How To Turn It On
The bottom-most button on the Zulu Controller toggles Auto MusicMute ON and OFF.

How To Test It
To test whether Auto MusicMute is enabled, simply talk into your headset microphone while playing music over a wired or Bluetooth audio source. (Your headset must be plugged in to the aircraft and your audio panel powered up to test successfully.) If Auto MusicMute is on, it will turn down your auxiliary music when you start to talk.

Note: Auto MusicMute does not affect cell phone calls.
